Job description

I'm currently working with a well-known firm in London who are seeking an ambitious and experienced Accounts Senior Manager to join their dynamic Creative Division. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and come from a creative/media background.

What you will be doing as an Accounts Senior Manager

  1. Manage team WIP, billing, and fee recovery to achieve targets and cash collection, ensuring monthly billing aligns with partner targets.
  2. Line manage team members, providing guidance, training, and career development to ensure business objectives are met.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring high client retention and the development of new business opportunities.
  4. Ensure the successful and timely completion of projects, managing partner and staff expectations effectively.
  5. Address and resolve complex client issues, providing proactive and innovative solutions.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery and work completion.
  7. Identify new business opportunities, providing proactive solutions and expanding client relationships.
  8. Ensure compliance with all practice management activities and deadlines.
  9. Play a key role in recruitment, HR activities, and performance management.
  10. Lead new client pitches and proposals, attending meetings and working with partners to secure new business.
  11. Act as a mentor and role model for team members, offering technical coaching and guidance.
  12. Maintain and develop technical knowledge through continuous learning and CPD activities.

What you will need to succeed as an Accounts Senior Manager

  1. Fully qualified Accountant
  2. Advanced technical, commercial, and risk awareness, with the ability to apply technical excellence and provide innovative solutions.
  3. Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  4. Excellent IT skills and ability to use software effectively.
  5. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  6. Excellent work ethic and a passion for providing outstanding client service.
  7. Strong relationships with partners, senior managers, and other key staff across the firm.
  8. Ability to manage staff effectively, providing feedback, coaching, and support in their development.
  9. Proven track record in managing client expectations and delivering quality results under pressure.
  10. Experience in expanding internal and external client networks through appropriate channels.
