Job Description:

We are searching for a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technological strategy and execution at Winnables.com, driving innovation and growth as we aim to redefine our industry.

The ideal candidate is a meticulous planner with a proven track record of leadership, capable of inspiring and managing high-performing teams. You will be responsible for shaping and implementing a forward-thinking technology strategy and roadmap that aligns with our mission and business goals, ensuring our platform is scalable, secure, and efficient as we expand.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead hands-on development, code reviews, and technical problem-solving to uphold high development standards.
2. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing tech team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and innovation.
3. Collaborate with the product team to shape and influence the product vision and roadmap.
4. Manage and optimize the software development process to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
5. Excellent at articulating complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Scale the engineering team by recruiting and retaining top talent.
7. Create a safe and blameless work culture through effective team collaboration and communication.
8. Establish and enforce best practices to continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and security.
9. Lead sprint planning, execution, and standup meetings to keep the team aligned and ensure projects stay on track.
10. Create thorough documentation to streamline the onboarding process for new engineers, ensuring smooth integration into the project.
11. Conduct ongoing and annual performance reviews to foster a high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years in technology leadership roles, with at least 2+ years in blockchain or cryptocurrency.
2. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science with outstanding academic results.
3. Deep knowledge of blockchain technologies, including Ethereum, smart contracts, and DeFi applications. Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols and blockchain security.
4. Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects from start to finish, prioritizing features and managing the product development lifecycle.
5. Passion for web3 and NFTs.
6. Interest in the iGaming industry.

Leadership Skills:

1. Visionary Leadership: Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans and drive technological innovation.
2. Software Methodologies: Proficient in development best practices, including testing, debugging, and complexity analysis.
3. Data Analysis: Skilled in analyzing and interpreting data, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
4. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in maintaining high standards of quality and thoroughness.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective in working with various departments to achieve company goals.
6. Crisis Management: Experienced in managing technology-related crises and developing contingency plans.

Technical Requirements:

1. In-depth experience with front-end technologies such as Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
2. Proficiency in developing smart contracts with Solidity and familiarity with tools like Hardhat.
3. Backend development expertise using TypeScript, Node.js, and Express, with a preference for Ethers.js v5.
