JOIN OLX GENERATIVE AI ENGINEERING TEAM
We are seeking a Mid-level / Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our newly established Generative AI Platform (GenAI Platform) team. This dynamic group is dedicated to revolutionizing our products and services through the power of Generative AI. Our mission is to create a robust platform that empowers various product teams to seamlessly integrate advanced AI capabilities into their workflows, thereby significantly enhancing the overall customer experience.

About the job
As an engineer in our team, you'll be collaborating closely with colleague engineers and SREs, the product team, data scientists, and an engineering manager while building one of the newest distributed systems we have in the company. Our systems are built with Python, Kotlin, or Golang and they run on AWS.

You Will:

• Contribute technically to projects and take part in the planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.
• Be part of a team and establish credibility with the quality of your own and your team’s technical execution.
• Encourage the team to innovate, invent, implement, and deploy complex software solutions.
• Ask questions, brainstorm, and own the product we are building.
• Work closely with the product management team to ensure we’re building the best products for our users.

You Have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with Python or Kotlin.
• Professional experience working with React or any other modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
• Passion for architecting, building, and scaling cloud-based systems, serving millions of users.
• Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
• Experience in architecting Cloud Native solutions, AWS is a plus.
• Worked in multi-functional teams.
• Believe in self-aligned teams and "you build it, you run it" philosophy.
• Experience in building AI / ML-enabled products is a plus.
