About The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of our expert team of developers on battery management systems which are among the world-leading ones regarding safety, features and costs. As part of the hardware development team, you will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle for our mechanical components. You will be responsible for the concept development and CAD design of single components and sub-assemblies and perform the calculations and simulations necessary to meet our specifications.
You contribute to the development also by designing and building test setups and prototypes to validate concepts. You will take responsibility for defining the corresponding engineering tests in our own lab and presenting the results to the team. Furthermore, you support our validation engineers during the different validation cycles of our electromechanical products with defining tests, evaluating test results and documenting the whole test procedures.
You add to our existing product development expertise with your experience and your proficiency in the fields of CAD Design, design analysis, simulation and field reliability analysis. You will have a decisive influence on the technical concepts of our future products through your work.
Your future tasks at a glance
