Ananda Impact Ventures ( https://ananda.vc ) islooking for you if you likesourcing early staged SynBio / TechBio / Healthcare investmentopportunities for Ananda Impact Ventures ( https://ananda.vc ). As a member of the investment team, you will expand our start-up network and source for the best impact startups. Besides being responsible for sourcing and due diligence processes, you are also going to take over responsibilities to further develop Ananda Impact Ventures as a front-runner in impact VC in Europe. The role is based in Munich, London or Berlin.

Your tasks will include the following but will not be limited to:

Screening the start-up market in order to identify new investment opportunities especially in the SynBio / TechBio and Healthcare sector and present them to the team.

Establish and develop impact tech founder networks, attending well-selected conferences.

Manage the SynBio / TechBio and Healthcare deal sourcing process including opportunity identification and support of the due diligence process.

Actively network with start-up founders, evaluate their teams and companies, and select the most interesting ones.

Connect with entrepreneurial communities as well as other VCs, build and maintain strong relationships.

Process and investigate seed and early-stage investment opportunities regarding market size, management teams, business model, business plan, competitive landscape & positioning.

Challenge the scientific perspective on investment opportunities’ impact potential.

Depending on your level of experience, you havethe following background:

Your diverse experience can come from either a VC-backed start-up or from a seed and/or early-stage VC fund.

You have benefited from a fast-paced business environment where you were required to quickly adapt and learn.

You have an entrepreneurial personality with a strong self-initiative and interest in start-ups and venture capital.

You bring a great passion and strong interest in SynBio / TechBio and ideally also Healthcare.

You have very good analytical and numeracy skills.

You bring a degree in the fields of biology, biotech or other life sciences which will help to cope better with the complex technologies we are dealing with.

You represent Ananda Ventures as a SynBio / TechBio / Healthcare investor in the market, both in the VC industry and in the start-up networks.
