The role involves identifying needs, designing innovative educational tools, and training faculty and students. Ideal candidates will have a Master's in digital education, experience in technology-enhanced learning, and strong instructional design skills. This permanent, full-time position offers an engaging work environment that supports diversity and innovation in learning.
The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.
To be at the forefront of innovation in teaching and learning, the University has established the Institute for Innovative Teaching and Learning (I²TL). I²TL operates across three interlinked pillars, namely Teacher Development, Digital Education, and the Education Innovation Fund (EIF), to promote excellence in pedagogy, support technology‑enhanced learning, and catalyze student‑centered educational innovation across the institution. The Institute emphasizes students as partners and co‑creators in the design, testing and implementation of innovations.
The Digital Education pillar aims to consolidate techno‑pedagogical expertise and promote the effective, evidence‑based use of emerging technologies in education. It provides centralized support for faculty and students, fosters innovation in digital teaching and assessment, and ensures that technology enhances teaching and learning at the University of Luxembourg and beyond.
As part of the I²TL founding team, the E‑Learning specialist will coordinate the Digital Education pillar, acting as a key driver of the University's digital transformation in teaching and learning.
