Corporate Coverage Associate

An international bank is currently recruiting a Corporate Coverage Associate to work in their Frankfurt office.

In this role, you will be responsible for focusing on the Technology and Industrials sectors, involving the design, origination, structuring, and execution of strategic financings, mergers & acquisitions, and equity and debt capital markets transactions.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in corporate finance, and excellent communication abilities.

TYPE: full-time

WORKING HOURS: 09:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday (1-day WFH)

SALARY: 70,000 – 95,000 + bonus

LOCATION: Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Corporate Coverage Associate Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive quantitative economic, industry and company research and analysis
• Draft and prepare pitch books with detailed industry materials for the relevant sectors
• Structure and model a broad range of corporate finance alternatives and due diligence for client transactions including capital structure development, acquisition finance, syndicated loan, capital market financing, M&A, and strategic alternatives
• Financial modelling, valuation, comparable & relative value analyses and market-specific analysis
• Facilitate and coordinate product group idea generation and solutions development across a broad platform of global capabilities
• Draft and prepare marketing materials and other internal documentation by coordinating internal and external resources
• Assist in financing structuring, underwriting transaction evaluation, preparation, due diligence and execution
• Assist in the development and continued cultivation of client relationships

Corporate Coverage Associate Ideal Candidate:

• At least 3 years’ experience in corporate & investment banking or corporate finance, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics
• Master’s degree and additional professional qualification are a plus
• Strong interest in the Technology & Industrials sectors
• AI, Software and Digital Infrastructure; experience with banking transactions related to Digital Infrastructure is a huge plus
• Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysis
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Maturity and good judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information
• Creativity and intellectual curiosity
• Business level fluency in German and English, both in writing and speaking
