Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson Ironworkers to join the SUNCOR Forthills maintenance team for an OUTAGE on site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Shift Rotation is Straight through 12 hrs/day starting April 03rd until April 28th. Camp accommodations and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) provided by the company.

**Required safety tickets and certain weld test costs will be covered.**

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in rope access techniques and equipment
• Solid technical skills as a Rope Access Technician is ideal.
• Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on structures and equipment at heights using rope access techniques.
• Conduct rigging and rope systems for safe access and egress
• Utilize hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs

Minimum Requirements:

• IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification is required.
• Ironworker Journeyperson Ticket
• Satisfactory Completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
• Standard First Aid (Level C or A)
• ESC Common Safety Orientation
• ESC Wood Buffalo / Wildlife Awareness
• ESC Confined Space & Monitor
• Basic Rigging (In person) through approved vendor.
• Valid Driver’s License
