The Engineer will be responsible for the research and development of KOTUG Subsea's products and services related to SPM CALM buoy terminal operations and maintenance. The person is to provide a high level of technical support to KOTUG Subsea Centre of Excellence while working under minimal supervision. The focus will be to identify, develop and refine KOTUG Subsea's technical solutions, including on-site inspection, validation, installation, testing and commissioning activities. The person will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient operations, adhering to industry standards and company procedures.
Job responsibilities:
Desired Candidate:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in marine / offshore engineering, or a similar role.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in marine operations, safety, and project management are preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., CAD, FEA), project management software (e.g. Project, Primavera), maintenance management systems and knowledge of marine operations. Knowledge of commercial diving and / or ROV operations will be beneficial.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, including creating detailed reports and presentations.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in offshore environments for extended periods, if required.
