Job Description

We are actively seeking an experienced Symfony Backend Developer to join our team, specializing in payment gateway integrations. The successful candidate will work alongside a software architect with many years of experience in payment solutions, focusing on building and designing applications tailored to our specific needs.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze, maintain, and improve the company's Symfony based projects.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive test coverage for the system to ensure the stability and reliability of the application.
3. Plan and execute the migration of the system to newer versions of Symfony while maintaining compatibility with existing features and integrations.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance during the upgrade process.
5. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
6. Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications for the system and its components.
7. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our software development processes.

Qualifications

1. Strong background in software development, specifically with Symfony.
2. Previous experience with payment gateway integrations is a must.
3. Previous experience standardizing gateway integrations is a bonus.
4. Deep understanding of various integration methodologies and payment transaction types.
5. Proven ability to design and implement efficient and secure solutions for complex payment systems.
6. Knowledge of modern development workflows and a commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
