This 12-month fixed-term contract offers practical training for learners who require P1 & P2 in-service training, as well as graduates seeking experiential training.

Umfolozi Sugar Mill, located 30 km from St Lucia and 48 km from Richards Bay, is committed to skills development in line with the latest legislation. This programme is designed for dynamic, intelligent, self-motivated, and ambitious individuals who are eager to advance their careers in the following fields:

• Chemical Intern – Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• Electrical Intern – Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
• Analytical Chemistry Intern – Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
• Finance Intern – N6 or equivalent in Financial/Account Management

• Chemical Graduate – B-Tech/BSc in Chemical Engineering
• Mechanical Graduate – B-Tech/BSc in Mechanical Engineering
• HR Graduate – B-Tech/Degree in Human Resources
• Electrical Graduate – B-Tech/BSc in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
• Agriculture Graduate – B-Tech/BSc in Agriculture
• Control & Instrumentation Graduate – B-Tech in Control & Instrumentation/BSc
• IT Graduate – B-Tech in Computer Science/BSc in Information Technology
