Title: HSE TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: Cartagena- Bolivar -Colombia

DEPARTMENT: HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional located in Cartagena. The HSE Technician will be responsible for maintaining health and safety standards, promoting environmental awareness, and ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations. This includes training employees on HSE policies and procedures, conducting assessments and audits, developing HSE initiatives, supporting the evaluation and deployment of investment projects, and developing programs to continuously improve HSE performance.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and regulations
• Experience implementing Health & Safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Demonstrated environmental awareness and commitment to sustainability
• Sensitivity to cultural, gender, age, and mindset diversity
• Occupational Health and Safety experience, including incident investigation and risk assessments
• Training development and delivery skills with the ability to train employees at all levels
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Passion and commitment for taking care of people, environment, and improving processes to make them safer and smarter
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering; Occupational Safety or related field
• Professional certification in HSE (50 Hr course certification)
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, project management expertise, and English
