We are looking for a proactive, warm, and people-oriented Marketing, Operations & Workshop Executive to join our growing team.
This is a dynamic, people-facing role suited for someone who enjoys engaging clients, managing multiple responsibilities, and being part of a growing creative environment. The work environment – VAC Art Gallery & Studio is a retail art gallery and unique art product gift shop, combined with a dynamic art studio that hosts workshops, corporate events, and regular art courses.
🕒 Working Hours
Wednesday to Sunday
10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
(Off days: Monday & Tuesday)
Weekend commitment is required.
- A curated retail art gallery featuring Singapore and regional artists
- A creative gift shop with art merchandise and handcrafted items
- A workshop studio hosting public art experiences and corporate team-building sessions.
- Regular structured art courses for children, youths, and adults
- This is a public-facing role requiring professionalism, strong customer engagement, and operational leadership.
- Oversee daily gallery and gift shop operations
- Ensure professional front-of-house customer service
- Manage artwork display, pricing, stock, and merchandise inventory
- Support exhibition setup and artwork documentation, light administration whenever required
- Handle client enquiries and sales, and assist in any coordination for delivery / pick up for example
- Facilitate and co-facilitate beginner-friendly art workshops
- Lead public art experiences and assist in corporate events
- Train and guide junior staff or interns during workshops
- Ensure smooth workshop logistics and client satisfaction
- Manage social media platforms and post regular content based on schedule (Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn)
- Assist in content updates and creation (EDMs, website updates)
- Coordinate partnerships and art course and workshop bookings (Klook, SISTIC, Culture Pass, schools, corporate clients)

Client engagement and relationship-building are key aspects of this role.
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Arts Management, Business, Design, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, retail, events, gallery, or creative industries preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a retail-facing environment
- Organised, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Passionate about art and creative industries
- Basic design skills – Canva/Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Social media experience
- Have photography or videography experience
- Are bilingual (English & Chinese preferred)
