Job summary
A leading game development company in Singapore seeks a skilled Lead Technical Artist to join their team on an exciting, unannounced project. Responsibilities include designing and directing C# systems, reviewing visual content, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unity, shaders, and VFX composition. They will work collaboratively with engineers and artists to ensure high-quality game development. Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of C# within Unity.
- Knowledge of Shaders within Unity (both ShaderGraph and CG / HLSL).
- Working knowledge of content tools within Unity.
- Profiling experience using Unity tools.
- Great understanding of VFX composition and performance impact.
- Able to forecast and communicate systems development.
- Practical understanding of Unity's rendering pipelines.
- Experience with UI implementation within Unity.
- Passionate and motivated.
- Able to work well as a team player.
Responsibilities
- Advises and directs the design and development of C# systems.
- Reviews and provides feedback on C# tools and scripts.
- Works with engineers to align on interfaces.
- Reviews feedback on Visual Effects and shaders.
- Assists with mentoring junior staff.
- Assists with defining milestones and sprints.
