Frontend Web Developer for E-commerce & UX
Job summary
A technology company in Malaysia is seeking a front-end web developer to enhance and maintain its website. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Web Design or Multimedia Design and have experience with e-commerce applications. Responsibilities include developing responsive web pages, troubleshooting website issues, and working with teams to integrate features that improve user experience. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in web design, multimedia design, or related field.
- Experience in e-commerce applications and development.
- Experience with Liquid (Shopify's templating language) is a plus.
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and UX/UI best practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our company website, focusing on responsive design and user experience.
- Implement new features and updates to enhance the functionality of the online store.
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues to ensure seamless operation.
- Collaborate with back‑end system experts to integrate data from back‑end web services and our databases.
- Work with designers to determine the website's layout.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align website features with our brand and business goals.
