We are looking for a Website & SEO Specialist to join the Wilson Marketing Team. This role will be responsible for providing ongoing development support on our HubSpot-based website, optimizing our digital presence, and driving organic traffic through SEO best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in web development, experience working within HubSpot’s CMS, and a deep understanding of SEO strategies to improve website performance and search rankings.
YOU WILL:
HubSpot Development & Website Management
- Maintain, develop, and optimize our website using HubSpot CMS and related tools.
- Customize HubSpot themes, templates, modules, and workflows to enhance functionality.
- Implement website updates, landing pages, and forms to support marketing campaigns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website performance issues, including fixing bugs with custom modules, ensuring optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to improve site structure and engagement.
- Experiment with Smart Content and run A/B tests to optimize the performance of the website, our conversion funnel, and specific marketing campaigns. Analyze test results, recommend improvements, and implement changes.
- Own performance metrics, defining performance goals and driving towards those goals.
- Own behavioral and usage metrics, managing tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics (GA4) to ensure you and the team have an up-to-date, thorough understanding of how our visitors experience our site.
- Work closely with content strategy and design to build, launch, iterate on, and monitor campaigns on a fast-paced release schedule.
- Own SEO initiatives to drive organic traffic, including regularly conducting keyword research, analyzing the site’s performance, and implementing both on-page and technical SEO improvements to further the team’s goals.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and on-page elements for search engines.
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
- Monitor and analyze site performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMRush.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and new SEO techniques.
- Provide SEO recommendations for content teams to ensure high-ranking, valuable content.
- Stay up to date on AEO best practices to increase visibility and organic traffic through AI-powered search engines and answer engines, in addition to traditional search engines.
Technical SEO & Performance Optimization
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes for crawl errors, broken links, and page speed optimization.
- Manage website structure, sitemaps, and schema markup for better indexing.
- Ensure mobile optimization and Core Web Vitals improvements.
Reporting & Insights
- Track and report on website traffic, rankings, and SEO performance.
- Provide insights on user behavior and suggest improvements for conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Prepare monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations for optimization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and ability to implement strategies.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience executing optimization experiments, from experiment design through change implementation.
- Experience working with a global remote team.
- Familiarity with HubSpot workflows, automation, and integrations.
- Experience with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and A/B testing.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and their impact on SEO and engagement.
- Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and tracking implementation.
- Identify areas of opportunity to use AI to further the team’s goals.
