Wholesale Manager Responsibilities

The Wholesale Manager will be responsible for managing the wholesale partners and supervising the area in every aspect of the business. They are responsible for granting sales, marketing & training plans according to the quantitative and qualitative targets (strategy) coming from OMEGA HQ and OMEGA Mexico, in strict cooperation with the Brand Manager OMEGA Mexico.

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 a month

  1. Achieve quantitative (sell in, sell out) & qualitative objectives (Visual Merchandising, assortment, marketing and sales promotion activities, training activities).
  2. First point of contact with wholesale partners; build and cultivate good relations with all stakeholders.
  3. Generate quantitative analysis: Sell-In, Sell-Out, assortment, stock rotation, bestsellers, average price, etc.
  4. Guarantee qualitative aspects of every point of sale in terms of brand environment, sales staff, visual merchandising, and staff training.
  5. Establish and implement action plans with wholesale partners to achieve targets.
  6. Initiate and implement marketing activities, campaigns, and promotional programming in collaboration with the Brand Manager & Marketing & PR Manager.
  7. Ensure optimal assortment, POS-Material needs, right campaign, optimize order procedure (auto-replenishment), and manage appropriate stock levels and rotation at POS.
  8. Establish staff training in collaboration with Marketing & PR Manager.
  9. Ensure accounts meet Company merchandising guidelines.
  10. Present and sell-in new collections.
  11. Control of budget per account; review business results with customers and take actions.
  12. Ensure contracts criteria with all retailers & control the respecting of the criteria.
  13. Open new accounts according to the wholesale strategy.
  14. Close accounts not performing & not respecting contract criteria in accordance with OMEGA HQ strategy and in close collaboration with the Brand Manager.
  15. Qualify accounts to determine opportunity and investment levels.
  16. Establish visit reports after every visit and follow up.
  17. Collaborate with Sales Coordinator to guarantee auto-replenishment and collections targets.
  18. Collaborate with Marketing Manager to establish Marketing, Media and Sales Plan per POS.
  19. Control of the visit plan & visit reports.
  20. Responsible for sales figures in Business Plan. Strong collaboration with Logistics & Marketing department and Retail Coordinator.
  21. Inform the Brand Manager of all extraordinary or irregular points and elements in the field of his/her responsibility.
  22. Follow up on all new and renovation projects in collaboration with Brand Manager and OMEGA HQ VM Department (RMIS).
  23. Guarantee training level and knowledge about the brand and product for wholesale and retail sales staff.
