Key Job Responsibilities:
General:
- Administrate human resources assigned to the warehouse. Follow up on their performance and development plans according to the area needs.
- Supervise warehouse staff and follow up payroll and multiform creation on a weekly basis.
- Ensure every physical movement in the warehouse has a backup transaction in the system.
- Train new personnel and report any personnel needs in all areas.
- Participate in the planning and logistics for the physical inventories (coordinate meetings as needed, material pre-counts, overtime).
- Ensure material supply to production floor in a timely manner and monitor supply timings.
- Ensure 5S methodology is being followed in all areas of the warehouse.
- Implement QPSs in all areas of the warehouse and ensure all of them are reviewed/updated on a yearly basis or as needed.
- Conduct time-out analysis and implement action plans.
- Coordinate any support needed with the carrier.
- Interview candidates for new warehouse positions and select the best candidate according to their profile.
- Preparation and documentation for internal/external audits.
- JCAPS report analysis to reprocess material transfer failures and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Complete assigned LPA audits in a timely manner.
- Detect and analyze discrepancies between WARE and QAD systems.
- Generation and follow-up of ACI requests (as needed).
- Update area KPIs on a weekly/monthly basis (according to the metric).
- Attend MP&L and other area meetings.
- Validation and follow-up on continuous improvements in the area.
- Generate IT tickets as needed to solve and escalate issues.
- Document, follow up, and implement action plans for shipping complaint reports.
