Responsibilities
Responsible for the handling, receipt, and identification of materials in the different warehouses of UMD, ensuring correct traceability of raw materials in process, stored until the finished products are delivered to customers.
Assure that raw material is used according to FIFO and that all obsolete materials are segregated correctly.
Ensure correct shipping, palletization, and handling of finished goods to sterilization site.
Perform inventories in production and warehouse of UMD. Communicate stock levels to BUID.
Responsible for the indirect budget of the accounts used by Warehouse and Import/Export. Follow up on all corrective actions from the warehouse as well as the investigation, implementation, and follow-up.
Conduct cycle counts of the different warehouses.
Implement cleaning routines in the warehouses.
Attend audits of different customers and authorities, ensuring the handling and requirement of indirect materials are in accordance with procedures and production requirements.
Develop and act according to Quality Assurance System based on ISO 13485 & FDA CGMP regulations.
Secure that imports and exports are done at the lowest possible cost, requesting permissions and authorizations for payment of duties to minimize customs broker fees.
Coordinate with Mexican and American Custom Brokers to provide correct information to cross or send raw materials and finished goods.
Prepare for audits in foreign trade for Secretaria de Hacienda y Crédito Publico (SHCP) and external audits to avoid infractions or penalties.
Ensure that transports providing service to imports and exports are in good condition to prevent damage to materials.
Update the inventory system as requested by the attachment 24 of the law.
Provide and coordinate necessary information prior to any importation or exportation with personnel of BUD or UMD as required.
Maintain procedures, formats, and work instructions according to different authority regulations.
Develop internal audits and audits of external suppliers based on OEA requirements, ensuring compliance with all corrective actions from certifications like OEA and IVA & IEPS.
Ensure all invoicing of services received aligns with the annual service agreements. Present annual reports to different government agencies and monitor that TIBs are closed on time with US authorities.
Coordinate movements of transportation for better material flow and avoid accumulation of trailers causing delays in processes.
Ensure the monthly report of the Attachment 31 in the SCCCyG.
Ensure COFEPRIS permits are entered on time as required for each product, complying with the company quality policy.
Requirements:
University Degree required.
Advanced English level.
Minimum 5 years of experience in International Commerce.
Experience with the harmonized Tariff Schedule.
Knowledge of Custom law and Regulations; International Commerce law and Regulations.
Familiarity with free trade agreements with USA and Europe Regulations.
Understanding of the Fiscal Federal Code.
Knowledge of FDA Regulations.
Experience with MRP systems.
Inventory and warehousing experience.
Proficiency in software utilization.
