What does a Video Editor do at Hogarth?

An editor's job is to make the final version of a product, by assembling image sequences, a visual narrative. Manipulates it to achieve the result.

Duties:
  • Editing assigned postproduction projects.
  • Advising and making creative editing recommendations to the coordinator.
  • Reviewing the materials worked on.
  • Develop and enforce editorial guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all content.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content creation and editing.
  • Creating editing ideas/designs that improve the client proposal.
  • Selecting, reviewing, organizing, and preparing material before it is printed, published or delivered to the workstations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communication, animation or related.
  • Management of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Avid Media Composer.
  • Basic knowledge of animation and motion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Client Facing.
  • Experience in postproduction processes and services and advertising agency.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience: Over 5 years.
