UI/UX Designer - Admin Interfaces & Dashboards

About the Role

UrVenue is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our growing creative team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about designing admin interfaces and complex digital tools, ensuring an intuitive experience for users managing detailed workflows and operations. You’ll be responsible for crafting user-centric designs that empower businesses to manage and optimize their offerings with ease.

UrVenue operates in the hospitality, ticketing, and reservation management space, providing digital solutions for some of the world’s most recognized brands. Your work will directly contribute to creating seamless venue management experiences, helping businesses streamline their event inventory, reservations, and customer interactions.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other designers to create functional, scalable, and visually compelling admin experiences that balance usability with data-rich features. Your expertise in hierarchy, user flows, and robust interface design will be essential in shaping interfaces that simplify complex tasks while maintaining efficiency and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Design & Prototype – Create intuitive, high-quality UI designs for admin interfaces, ensuring smooth navigation and user workflows.
• User-Centered Focus – Apply best practices in UX to organize complex information, structure hierarchy, and streamline multi-step processes.
• Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to bring concepts to life.
• Interactive Design – Develop wireframes, prototypes, UI kits, and design systems in Figma to standardize components and maintain consistency.
• User Testing & Iteration – Gather feedback, test interactions, and continuously improve designs based on real-world use cases.
• Stay Ahead of Trends – Keep up with industry trends, UX best practices, and new technologies to drive innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong emphasis on admin dashboards, web applications, or enterprise tools.
• Expertise in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and design collaboration.
• Deep understanding of user experience principles, information architecture, and designing for interfaces with extensive functionality.
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience in designing highly functional, complex UI systems.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive, easy-to-navigate interfaces.
• Solid knowledge of design fundamentals (typography, color theory, white space usage, interaction design).
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience designing for hospitality, ticketing, or reservation management platforms.
• Experience designing for data-driven dashboards or multi-user admin panels.
• Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS-based platforms.
• Familiarity with accessibility (ADA/WCAG) and responsive design best practices.
