As a TSI Networking Project Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Integrated solutions for telecom and Industrial security systems such as industrial intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, and other related technologies. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing DCS system virtualization deployments, and networking engineering related to the Operational Technology for Industrial facilities in the Americas Region including North America and LATAM. Your expertise in virtualization, network architecture, wireless technologies, and security industrial solutions will be crucial in ensuring the seamless operation and integration of these systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with customers to deliver innovative solutions that meet their specific requirements.

You will report directly to our Mexico Projects & Automation Solutions Global Engineering Services Leader and work out of our designated location in Mexico City, with travel to customer sites primarily in the Americas Region. The work schedule for this role is Hybrid, when not traveling or working at customer industrial sites.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on our organization by:

  1. Creating and defining project specifications and other engineering documents for designing and implementing virtualization deployments, network architectures for DCS systems, industrial intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, and other related technologies.
  2. Optimizing network performance, scalability, and reliability for these systems.
  3. Conducting network assessments and troubleshooting issues to ensure uninterrupted connectivity and system integration.
  4. Collaborating with customers to understand their networking and wireless requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  5. Staying updated with the latest networking and wireless technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
  6. Working closely with global teams and SMEs to enhance your skills and support projects and provide improvements to enhance global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing network architectures for industrial intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, virtualization deployments, and other related technologies.

• Optimizing network performance, scalability, and reliability for these systems.

• Conducting network assessments and troubleshooting issues.

• Collaborating with customers to understand their networking and wireless requirements.

• Staying updated with the latest networking and wireless technologies.

• Traveling to customer industrial facilities across the Americas Region, including North America and LATAM, to implement project engineering, support commissioning activities, and troubleshoot and optimize online and offline systems.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Operational Technology, or a related field.

• Mexico Professional License Number.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom and security systems integration, network engineering, or wireless engineering.

• Strong knowledge of telecom technologies, security systems, network architecture, wireless technologies, and security measures.

• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Availability to travel to customer industrial sites for implementing projects for short-term or long-term periods depending on the scope of work.

• Strong self-learning behavior and passion for delivering high-quality results aligned to Quality Management Systems.

WE VALUE

• Master's degree in Telecommunications, Operational Technology, or a related field.

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, or equivalent.

• Switches and routers configuration & troubleshooting.

• Experience with industrial intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, virtualization deployments, and related technologies.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
