Job Description

Support test and calibration equipment in optimal conditions to ensure correct operation.

Responsibilities

1. Support manufacturing lines in everything related to problems with the test equipment, as well as carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, machinery and test equipment.
2. New equipment installation or change of position of this.
3. Maintenance under 5S’s discipline.
4. Development of activities within JIT.
5. Participation aimed at reducing costs in preventive and corrective maintenance.
6. Apply safety.
7. Use the necessary equipment for better performance.
8. Know how the tool to be used works.
9. Perform the functions with the required quality.
10. Comply with the security policy, regulations and procedures applicable to the company.
11. Teamwork.
12. Working under pressure.
13. Sense of urgency.
14. Improvements in current test equipment.
15. Poka-yoke Implementation.

Basic Requirements

1. Completed technical career (Electrical, Electromechanics).
2. 4 years of experience as a test technician.
3. Experience developing AOI vision systems and Keyence vision systems programs.
4. 4 years of experience analyzing and repairing functional test equipment.
5. Basic knowledge of C programming, Basic.
6. Reading electrical, pneumatic and mechanical diagrams.
7. Basic knowledge of communication protocols RS232, RS485.
8. Knowledge of mechanics and pneumatics.
9. Knowledge needed to rework and update final test equipment.
10. Technical English language 50% (reading, writing).

Desirable Requirements

1. Experience in equipment controlled by PC and PLC's.
2. Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
3. Basic knowledge in: SPC, KAN-BAN, JIT, 5'S, POKA-YOKE, SMED, PPM's.
4. Knowledge of Lock Out, Tag Out security procedures.
5. Fault diagnosis in electronic circuit board.
6. Use of Multimeter, Oscilloscope.
7. Quick equipment repairs.
8. Experience working with circuit board assembly environment.
9. Creation of poka-yokes and tools to expand test coverage.
