We are looking for the best talent for the position of Manufacturing Systems Engineering Technician II (Temporary 6 months) located in Juárez (Independencia).

Purpose: The Manufacturing Systems Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting and training in documentation in the MES system for all production associates and departments. They perform configuration changes in the MES platform and conduct documentation research of processes that aid in business decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the administration and configuration of MES manufacturing systems.
  • Coordinates and conducts training for users of MES manufacturing systems.
  • Provides support in the development, testing, validation, and implementation of configurations of such systems.
  • Supports improvements and develops new phases in the systems under their responsibility.
  • Assists in the deployment process of systems to production, including documentation, training of production personnel, and problem resolution in the same area.
  • Under supervision, provides support to other J&J plants in the implementation and maintenance of new or existing manufacturing systems.
  • Under supervision, documents non-conformities of manufacturing systems in applicable platforms.
  • Supports the configuration of manufacturing systems applicable to various company projects.
  • Participates in the modification and maintenance of guides and procedures related to areas of responsibility.
  • May participate in discussions of conceptual bases for the design and development of new configurations of manufacturing systems.
  • Maintains expected levels of the Department in GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Performs maintenance and repair activities on manufacturing systems equipment.
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures and other safety precautions within the work area.
  • Ensures compliance with environmental management system (EMS) responsibilities.
  • Follows J&J’s Records Management Policies and the Campus, Records Retention Program, Training and Education, Document Retention Notices, Record Cleanup, Inactive Records Management, Vital Records, and applies to suppliers as applicable.
  • Adheres to work schedules.
  • Responds to business needs.
  • Participates in the continuous improvement of the business unit.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Preferably Technical Career studies or equivalent applicable to the area: Mechanical; Electrical; Electromechanical; Electronic; Metrology; Instrumentation; Systems; Industrial, Administration.
  • Experience in manufacturing systems (Camstar, Rockwell, Traksys).
  • Experience in training support at different organizational levels.
  • Experience in computer systems support (hardware and software) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience related to the position, or currently studying a Professional Career in Engineering or Administration (Preferred).
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, communicate at different levels, and problem-solving.
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English - Basic Level.
  • Knowledge and management of computer systems (hardware and software).
  • Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) / ISO (preferably).
  • Knowledge of network systems, IP addresses, C++, Visual Basic (preferably).
  • Knowledge of the MES system (Camstar/Rockwell/Traksys).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes in the medical industry.
  • Knowledge in validation processes.
