Technical Writer

This position is for a production editor/information developer for technical documentation deliverables, including topic-based authoring. The AAES documentation team is responsible for production of all technical documentation (data sheets, application notes, user guides, reference manuals).

Primary Responsibilities

• Topic based authoring in DITA XML, using NDF DITA XML environment, Oxygen 24.1.
• Graphics/illustrations into Alfresco TDM repository.
• General and detailed publication duties (preproduction prep including copyediting as required, validating source content using applicable Guidelines, QA/proofreading, spell checking, resolving cross-references for small, medium documents; technical illustration; document guideline maintenance/creation).
• Manage graphic creation. Primary interface for graphics with centralized documentation services.
• Work to standardized processes and workflows in cross-functional team environment.
• Work in compliance with corporate process and identity standards.
• Use of content management system archive/retrieval of collateral.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience.
• Proficiency in XML authoring tool, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with content management systems.
• Experience in DITA XML topic authoring.
• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Proficiency in the English language and grammar.
