Manage human resources and teams (CSW/MOLDING) and be responsible for meeting team efficiency goals. Responsible for implementing a work culture based on waste elimination and continuous process improvement, and ensuring teams work toward established efficiency goals.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and/or reduce the area's scrap level according to the measurable objectives established by the organization.
Generate work strategies that ensure the maintenance and improvement of the area's indicators.
Generate work strategies that contribute to the optimization of the area's processes.
Manage compliance with the area's safety guidelines, as well as their implementation and monitoring of legal procedures applicable to the area.
Supervise the proper execution of total productive maintenance on machinery and facilities to meet safety standards (product physics), quality, and productivity.
Manage/prepare the budget assigned to the manufacturing, processes, maintenance, and tooling accounts to meet financial goals.
Oversee the timely execution of project deliverables/engineering changes/requirements.
Manage the execution/sustainability of actions focused on meeting the safety, quality, operational, process, tooling, maintenance, and financial objectives of the assigned operating platform.
Supervise the management of improvements/changes made in the area to improve processes and reduce costs.
Manage the generation and implementation of improvement ideas.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
3-5 years of experience in automotive interior trim processes.
