Technical Documentation Engineer

We are looking for a candidate with Mechanical Engineering or related background to support our engineering and quality management processes. This role will play a critical part in ensuring efficient part builds, clarifications, and inspection template preparation to streamline operations between our teams globally.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

As a Technical Documentation Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks to support our engineering and quality management operations:

1. Build parts in ERP system to support internal and external engineering requirements.
2. Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software for product development.
3. Categorize items in e-commerce site, ensuring proper classification and accurate product details.
4. Support various internal engineering activities as needed.

Quality Management & Documentation

1. Handle PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
2. Create and update inspection templates to facilitate efficient quality control processes.
3. Assist with other internal quality activities, including documentation and process improvements.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Process Improvement

1. Work closely with the Mexico Engineering team to improve workflow efficiency and reduce delays in part builds and documentation.
2. Support to release and manage documentation for new set-up warehouse.
3. New project: Cooperate with cross-functional teams to publish an official database of international compliance, customs, and HTS codes.
