We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of TAO Test Analyst, to work within the Process and Tech Pillar within our Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (TAO) Transformation Programme and contribute to the delivery of testing across the rollout of the new processes and systems. This is a unique opportunity to influence how we attract, engage, and retain talent on a global scale. The role will report into the Test Manager.
Principal accountabilities:
- Be a key member of a multi-disciplinary Process and Tech team within the TA transformation programme, working with TAO, HR, Design, IT, and business architecture.
- Support the Test Manager in the delivery of a clear test strategy and plan in accordance with tight project timelines.
- Manage and co-ordinate testing across sprints, UAT, SIT, and Service Rehearsal testing, considering test cases, scenarios, traceability, data, execution, documentation and closure/sign-off.
- Work with key team members to ensure business requirements are tested appropriately as part of the work completed in sprints, with thought and consideration to test scripts, test data, traceability, test evidence/documentation etc.
- Work with the Test Manager to ensure the Programme team members and Business users are trained appropriately and have clear guidance material to ensure testing is completed effectively.
- Support the management and co-ordination of testing resources and third parties/vendors.
- Ensure all key business stakeholders are aligned with test documentation.
- Contribute to the User Acceptance Testing phase including preparation, execution, and formal closure.
- Contribute to the Service Rehearsal Testing phase including preparation, execution, and formal closure.
- Working with the Test Manager, perform and manage Functional and Integration testing with third parties via agreed test plan and ensuring defects/issues are resolved by third parties within timeline.
- Feed in any regular updates and reports on test progress, results, and risks.
- Build positive relationships and work closely with business stakeholders, colleagues, support teams and suppliers.
- Working knowledge of JIRA to own defect management lifecycle.
- Able to apply latest test approaches across waterfall and agile and in a variety of complex delivery environments.
- Aware of the latest trends in test approach and methodologies with the ability to drive best practices for Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering.
Key Requirements for the Role:
- Testing experience, ideally most of which is in a large-scale transformation environment, with test management and execution experience across the lifecycle of technology implementation.
- Understanding of agile and iterative testing methodologies with a focus on the functional / business testing execution.
- Ability to work with Design and Business teams to create test scripts (and appropriate test data) from functional requirements.
- Ability to support and train senior business users with regards UAT and Service Rehearsal Execution.
- Hands-on approach, with strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality test preparation and execution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Motivated self-starter, curious to find better solutions and speak up.
- Ability to work in teams across multiple locations globally.
- Knowledge of HR, Talent Acquisition and Service Management technologies would be an advantage (preferably SuccessFactors, Service Now and Eightfold).
