1. Create a strategic agave procurement map.
2. Create a network of suppliers and reach out to new partners.
3. Develop a stable agave supply and negotiate contracts as required.
4. Work hand-in-hand with other partners to invest more in agave production.
5. Have a clear understanding of cost-related matters when it comes to agave sourcing.
6. Identify agave market trends and take actions appropriately.
7. Create and develop relationships with agave stakeholders of all levels of the supply chain.
8. Perform other supply chain and procurement functions as required.

Perfil buscado

The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and English. Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain and procurement roles specifically for agave production in western Mexico. Suitable candidates should have a degree in Agronomy as well as post-graduate studies in business administration. A strong background in agave and raw-material sourcing and production is required for this role.
