The Supply Chain Project Manager (1 year position) is responsible for developing, selling, and executing commodity growth projects aligned to the North America region. Initiatives include securing growth, mitigating supply risk, and product cost improvements, including the transfer of suppliers, supply base optimization, and quality & value engineering changes.
This position is accountable for executing a solid pipeline of projects from start to finish through innovative and effective project management practices, partnering with our plants and cross-functions, as well as coaching and leading the procurement/deployment organization in project & program management best practices.
Responsibilities of the Project Management role:
Ability to prioritize & execute a project pipeline based on key Supply Chain-related attributes.
Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintain full involvement of all stakeholders and plants potentially impacted to work towards achieving the goals.
Implementation of Agile mindset/frameworks for program & portfolio planning.
Lead activities and workshops that transform programs into rapid execution & simplification.
Maintain proper follow-up of project deliverables and program strategy across the project management team.
Ensure compliance with communication plans with all stakeholders.
Effective communication and proper escalation of project progress, clear escalations, and help needed, challenge scope, and show compliance with internal processes and business stakeholders.
Ability to present the program strategy to VP and Director levels to secure funding, resources, and overall support from cross-functions such as Engineering, Quality, Plant Managers, Procurement, and Supply Chain Leaders.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or Business.
Fully Bilingual in English/Spanish (written and oral).
3+ years proven experience in Supply Chain Project Management, especially with commodities related to electronics products such as SPDs, PCBAs, DCS, HDPMs, etc.
Previous experience in Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain areas.
Proactive, dynamic, self-driven, able to achieve results through influence and excellent communication skills.
Seeks solutions beyond their own frame of reference.
Availability to travel internationally (Valid Passport and USA Visa).
Knowledge of Agile and its frameworks, especially Scrum.
Experience handling ambiguity, change, and multiple conflicts to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Desired Skills:
Interpretation of engineering specs, drawings, BOM (Bill of Material), cost modeling, inventory volumes.
PMP Certification.
Scrum Master Certified.
Master's in Business Administration or Supply Chain.
Experience implementing and leading Agile Transformations.
