Supplier Quality Engineer Mty

We are currently seeking a self-driven Supplier Quality Engineer with a passion for manufacturing to join our team. This position will monitor External PPMs for a External Manufacturer Supplier (EMS) and support manufacturing transitions form a quality point of view. This position will report to the VF Quality Manager. It will be based in Mty GSC Campus, MDIC offices.

What will you do:

• Support Manufacturing Transfers to Strategic Suppliers.
• Early involvement into new projects to prepare for welcoming new parts or change of suppliers with good quality level.
• Support PPAP and validation plan with suppliers and project team.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks with technical expertise.
• Support problem solving for internal and external customer concerns utilizing tools including 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma.
• Conduct supplier process audits to make sure quality controls are followed through Schneider Electric guidelines.

• Fluency in English (written and business speaking).
• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience on Manufacturing roles.
• Proven experience using Quality tools.
• Preferred experience on Make-to-Stock environment.
• Proficiency on excel use.
• Self-initiative and proven experience on following up on multiple topics with attention to details.
• Strong influencing skills and team work.
