Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Activities:

1. Implement assessments to suppliers to develop them to deliver finished good products to plant.
2. Keep supplier's performance (PPM's) according to Terex targets.
3. Assure KPI's meet expected targets.
4. Maintain continuous improvement at suppliers' performance.
5. Meet all ISO/IATF/AWS requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Conversational English skills
• Knowledge of incoming inspection & supplier quality techniques for improving source quality.
• Quality tools knowledge: 8D reports, Pareto charts, control charts, Fishbone, 5 Whys.
• Knowledge to develop suppliers from the assessment phase to product release at factory.
• Able to establish strategies to improve supplier PPM's through disciplined workshops.
• Quality management system knowledge (ISO9001) & strong knowledge of ASTM norms.
• Able to establish a supplier assessments plan to keep KPI's according to expected goals.
• Quality audits knowledge: process/product audit, self-assessment, incoming audit.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes involving welding and steel cut phases.
