The process engineer analyze, optimizes and improves the efficiency of the manufacturing and industrial process. This position ensures the proper functioning of production lines, develop new techniques, modify existing designs and coordinate process improvement projects. The process engineer maps our workflows, identify bottlenecks and make data-driven recommendations for operational improvements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Process Design and Optimization: Create and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues that impact quality, cost, and throughput.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Implement Process Controls: Utilize control systems to monitor and adjust processes in real-time, ensuring optimal operating conditions.
Resource Management: Evaluate and manage the resources needed for various processes, including raw materials, manpower, and time.
Process Documentation: Create, revise, and maintain detailed process documentation for training and compliance purposes.
Training and Development: Train staff and team members on new process changes, tools, or methodologies.
Work with engineering department at design, supervision and startup of capital projects.
Look for savings opportunities in the process.
Elaboration and modification of operation procedures.
Ensure equipment operate in optimal way and in manufacturing specifications.
Education & Experience:
Chemical, industrial, mechanical or food Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in food, cosmetic or pharma industry.
Industrial Engineering
