JOB DESCRIPTION

General

The Superintendent of warehouse has overall responsibility for the materials and FGs areas and all warehouse operations. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day activities in receiving, supplying, and shipping, maintaining inventory control, following FIFO rules, and achieving KPI targets in terms of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost-Budget, fulfillment, and delivery. Establishment, leadership, and execution of strategies to assure production continuity are essential.

Activities:

• Responsible for ensuring that all procedures, work instructions, and documentation related to warehouses are followed 100%.
• Evaluate and improve supply activities between warehouses and production lines.
• Maintain inventory accuracy above 90% and assure 100% adherence to FIFO.
• Complete 100% of cycle counts and analyze variations.
• Actively participate in activities related to new projects, preparation of new lines, and routes to supply materials and store materials and FGs.
• Avoid downtime by ensuring material supply from the warehouse.
• Participate and support quality, safety, and environmental goals related to warehouses.
• Daily administration and operation of the warehouse, including processing, packaging, and storage of suppliers, materials, and equipment.
• Account for all materials and supplies in warehouses and conduct periodic audits of goods received.
• Coach and mentor team members in all activities related to Safety, Quality, and Productivity; direct and supervise warehouse staff.
• Review the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, safety, and protection of equipment and racks.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of suggested minimum experience in materials areas.
• English proficiency at 70%.
• Desirable knowledge of inventory management and ERP-MRP systems.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology is a plus.
