Job Title: Sr. ServiceNow Developer ITSM + Integration + ITAM (7+ Years)

Remote

Contract Period: 3 to 12 months

Shift Timings: IST (Overlapping with UK Shift)

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and third-party integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and customizing ServiceNow solutions, automating workflows, and integrating third-party systems. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, as well as proficiency in scripting, automation, and driving efficient solutions within the ITSM and ITAM domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ServiceNow Development & Customization:
    1. Design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
    2. Create, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITAM, Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management, and Configuration Management.
    3. Develop ServiceNow scripts (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Scripts) to automate processes and improve system efficiency.
    4. Customize ServiceNow workflows to meet business needs and optimize operational performance.
  2. Integration & Automation:
    1. Develop and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications or systems.
    2. Utilize ServiceNow's Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP, and other integration tools for seamless data exchange.
    3. Automate processes using ServiceNow orchestration and flow designer to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
    4. Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain integrations to ensure continuous, reliable service.
    5. Leverage knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices to enhance incident, problem, change, and request management.
    6. Implement and optimize IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, including asset lifecycle management, from procurement to retirement.
    7. Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices while configuring ServiceNow ITSM and ITAM modules.
    8. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and other teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions in line with business objectives.
    9. Provide technical support and guidance for ServiceNow-related issues, performing system administration as needed.
    10. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high system availability and performance.
  3. Documentation & Best Practices:
    1. Maintain thorough documentation for all development, configuration, and integration processes.
    2. Follow coding and design best practices, ensuring code quality, reusability, and scalability.
    3. Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, trends, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience:
    1. Minimum of 7+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, specifically in ITSM, ITAM, and integrations.
    2. Proven track record of implementing ServiceNow workflows, automation, and integrations.
  2. Technical Skills:
    1. Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform, ITSM, ITAM modules, and best practices.
    2. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow's Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP, and web services.
    3. Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies).
    4. Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks, particularly in Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management.
    5. Experience with ServiceNow Reporting, Dashboard creation, and Performance Analytics.
  3. Additional Skills:
    1. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an Agile development environment.
    2. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
  2. Experience with ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Discovery.
  3. Knowledge of additional ITSM or ITAM tools is a plus.
