TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorize according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.
• Drive maturity of SIOP within TE Energy Americas
• Define, train, implement/deploy SIOP within Americas
• Embrace TEOA & the continuous improvement mindset to define current state in all SIOP processes while leading transformation via continuous improvement plan execution
• Leverage Gartner maturity modeling to enhance continuous improvement mindset
• Measure SIOP impacts to drive efficient and aligned decision making processes and improve Customer satisfaction, cash & growth
• Ensure the sharing and driving of best practices with all regional Energy businesses and non-Energy businesses
• Participate in and assist in defining Supply Chain processes, training of Teams and ensuring the long term development of Supply Chain talent within the Energy business
• Build a continuous improvement mindset through-out the Americas Supply Chain
• Provide both Strategic and tactical Leadership
• Participate in and assist in the deployment of standard analytics within the Supply Chain and Operations function of the Energy BU
• Leverage MBR for critical decision escalations regarding Product strategy and profitability, Demand, Supply, financial reconciliation and mitigation matters
• Develop/Deploy SIOP Control Tower with appropriate leading/lagging metrics at the most effective operational level necessary to measure/drive performance improvement and excellence
• Emphasis on supporting and coaching executive Leaders within Americas
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain & Master’s Degree preferred
• 10+ years of professional experience with focus on Supply Chain planning, Demand Management, SIOP, Customer Service Logistics & analytics
• SAP & IBP experience preferred
• Previous experience leading & transforming process – Kaizen and Practitioner certification preferred
• Fluent in English – Spanish is a differentiator
• The role will involve travel to countries within North & South America
