Senior Process Engineer is responsible for coordinating and following up on all the activities concerning a new project launch with a relentless attitude, working with rigor and pace to execute project activities related to software/programming and automated assembly processes such as manual process, semiautomatic processes & automatic process to manufacture automotive parts like Electrical charges, insert molding, prep terminals, potting dispensing and curing, resistance welding, heat stacking and EOL tester integration with molding equipment.

  • Establish, document, and follow new project launch evidence milestones into ShareDrive.
  • Manufacturing engineer's talent yearly reviews for career and skills development.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met (MQ1, MQ2, Stress runs for PPAP preparation, R@R etc.)
  • Responsible for the estimation of new projects within budgetary discussions with suppliers.
  • Define the cycle time of subprocess with a full overview to fulfill peak year production capacity.
  • Responsible for aligning manufacturing equipment capabilities with product specifications.
  • Document and Implement lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Assist manufacturing engineers in supplier design reviews to mitigate risk of equipment bad performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency English level.
  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Problem solving skills, product drawing interpretation, GD&T, and stack up tolerance studies.
  • CAD software knowledge NX, Solid Works (60% or higher).
  • Familiar with component manufacturing processes (plastic molding, stampings, machining).
  • Develop and maintain project timelines for internal and customer usage.
  • Experienced in engineering changes and product release manufacturing.
  • Experience with manufacturing documentation development PFMEA, PFD, GANT.
