Sr Continuous Improvement Leader

Sr GEM Analyst in charge of maintaining and improving the GEM (Garrett Excellence Model) Operational Systems across Turbos Mexicali Site. Support in all organizational strategies in order to achieve KPI's and maintain the global standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement lean manufacturing tools for Mexicali Site (one-piece flow, takt time, line balancing, standard work, etc.)
2. Monitor OPEX plant projects to achieve committed savings.
3. Ensure adherence to GEM standards and procedures while supporting initiatives.
4. Develop training plans based on company requirements and government regulations.
5. Plan, develop, and track the Training System.
6. Lead training for all employees of the site, with a special focus on new employees.
7. Support the GEM manager in executing functional assessment audits and provide coaching for activities.
8. Ensure compliance with audit requirements of quality and safety systems and GEM.
9. Lead Improvement Projects (Quick Kaizens, Kaizen Events, OPEX projects, etc.).
10. Provide mentoring to green belt candidates to achieve Green Belt certifications 100% on time.
11. Create development plans for direct reports to build pipelines for engineers, Continuous Improvement technicians, and full-time interns.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
2. 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Tools.
4. Experience in Lean Manufacturing with a special focus on productivity.
5. Written and spoken fluent English (advanced - desirable).
6. Training system management experience.
7. Experience in the management of Productivity Projects.
