Team Overview

The grocery team is the newest vertical launched by DiDi. As a Sales Executive - Ecommerce you will be responsible for the acquisition of key merchants for our grocery vertical. You will be working within the commercial team, helping to bring relevant merchants that could drive growth to our business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and visiting clients, acquiring a deep knowledge of their needs to diagnose requirements. Build and present a value offer for each potential merchant and/or brand.
  • Handling objections, identifying common points, and emphasizing agreements until reaching a positive closing of the account.
  • Becoming a partner of allied merchants, identifying decision makers and establishing business relationships that allow building and fostering a long-term relationship with a win-win mentality.
  • Making weekly progress reports, ensuring that the data is accurate and that the relevant market information is internalized by the company for its decision making.
  • Meeting and exceeding the expectations and commitments with our allies by providing excellent service, carrying out detailed and personalized follow-up with each restaurant and/or brand, and mobilizing the company towards exceptional service.
  • Prioritizing opportunities in your territory; develop a work system and action plans, ensuring implementation to achieve performance metrics and established objectives.
  • Understanding and owning DiDi's goal and purpose to continuously improve company performance.

Role Qualifications

  • Graduates in Admin Economic - Administrative fields.
  • 1 - 3 years of commercial experience, focusing on the acquisition of new customers.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience working in start-up environments or tech companies (Desired).
  • Experience in retail or CPG companies, e-commerce oriented.
