Job Description

Core Responsibilities

The LEGO Business Service Operations (BSO) is a shared service center that delivers HR and Finance services to the entire LEGO Group from 3 primary locations: Monterrey, Kladno, and Singapore and other satellite offices. The purpose of the BSO is to create an effective and efficient platform for growth and to support The LEGO Group strategy.

You will be responsible for ensuring all the daily transactional tasks are completed on time.

Primary tasks include:

  • Delivering a strong, customer-oriented service culture within the AR department.
  • Issuing/Posting of Credit Note & Debit Note (CTTs; Scrap, Financial Invoices; etc.)
  • Process CTT and clearing.
  • Monitor VFX03/04 for stuck billing documents.
  • Intercompany Invoicing.
  • Documenting processes and creating quick guides.
  • Support Auditor’s requests.
  • Collaborating with Market Finance Controllers in enhancing the claims processes.
  • Ensuring the creation of invoices meets the SLA for all Markets.
  • Performing optimization initiatives within own functional areas and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining good relationships with senior partners and customers to meet their needs.
  • Proactiveness in anticipating the service needs from the Order to Cash partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Understanding the value of service provided and suggesting continuous improvement ideas to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Participating in projects that drive process simplification and support regional implementation.
  • Supporting regional process standardization.

The Accountant plays an important role in establishing a sustainable AR department in the BSO. We need employees eager to engage actively in building an impactful department, valuing collaboration, process excellence, quality, and fun in everyday life.

Do you have what it takes?

  • App. 5+ years of demonstrated working experience from Finance function and preferably experience in international accounting.
  • Experience of working and driving a highly collaborative environment in a global setting, promoting coherence and the end-to-end perspective.
  • Significant business and market understanding (experience) both at operational and tactical level.
  • Personal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills, and proven ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key partners.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Good influencing skills to garner partner support.
  • Good Crisis Management and able to contain issues effectively with good Problem-Solving skills.
  • Confidence in making informed and justifiable decisions for own functional area.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Fully bilingual.
