We will count on you to:
Provide Global Operations Support to planned infrastructure activities, Messaging approved and BAU projects and resolution of incidents via ticketing system.
Participate in an On-Call rotation with other Technical Specialists.
Provide after-hours support as needed to assist with initiatives or urgent escalations.
Assist in developing policies, procedures, documentation and standards for messaging specific products and services and monitoring adherence to defined standards.
Provide messaging services troubleshooting support including: Exchange 2019 Server and Exchange Online (M365) diagnostics/maintenance, Mail Routing/SMTP, Mobility tools (i.e. MobileIron, Ivanti Go), External Mail Gateways (Proofpoint Appliances), RightFax 21.1.
Participate and contribute in the resolution of Messaging related escalations and incidents reported through incident management system.
Develop methods and procedures for resolving Messaging related problems, and train analysts in problem resolution.
Help to develop methods and procedures to improve operational processes, technology solutions, and service level expectations.
Lead initiatives and provide technical solutions to reduce the volume and time to resolution on assigned incidents.
Contribute technical expertise to complex root cause analysis and problem management.
Contribute to detailed implementation/project plans across multiple, complex work streams according to agreed standards and ensure project processes and timelines are understood and followed.
What you need to have:
Demonstrated experience of working in a Microsoft centric, global enterprise messaging environment.
Comprehensive PowerShell scripting experience.
Strong messaging experience.
A core knowledge of Exchange online (M365), Exchange on premise, and Email Gateways.
Experience implementing and supporting message solutions such as Exchange Migration to Exchange Online (M365), Email Gateway mail routing/SMTP, and RightFax.
Working knowledge of Active Directory and Directory Services (such as AD DNS, LDAP and LDS) Microsoft Entra formerly Azure Active Directory.
Strong messaging experience with solid knowledge of Exchange 2019, Exchange Online (M365) and PowerShell as well as resolution of incidents via ticketing system.
Experience setting up and configuring Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online (M365) systems including writing PowerShell scripts.
Clear understanding of messaging standards and protocols.
Working knowledge of AI platforms such as Moveworks/ChatGPT.
Must be able to proactively identify problem areas and provide or recommend solutions.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including senior leaders of the organization.
Self-motivated individual who can work independently, take ownership and organize workflow to concurrently meet multiple milestones and deadlines.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
