Team Overview

The Solution Architect Lead will work in a newly founded team, responsible to support fintech business growth in Mexico. Will work cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business lines, and collaborating closely with multiple functional teams as well as external partners to deliver solutions successfully, driving the business to success taking into consideration compliance matters related to SOFIPO and DiDiPay. Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading DiDi Fintech local team members in Mexico.
  • Implementing DiDi localization payment scenarios in DiDiPay and SOFIPO digital bank.
  • Delivering products in Sofipo banks, e.g. deposit, interest, payment, clearing, settlement, etc.
  • Contributing to various payment methods in DiDiPay, e.g. payment with balance, payment with card, payment with Sofipo bank, etc.
  • Working closely with various teams in Mexico and China, including business, product, and tech teams.
  • Collecting requirements from different teams, understanding team needs, dismantling them into tech solutions and delivering high quality products.
  • Working closely with various teams to prepare technical compliance documents that compliance or CNBV need for SOFIPO.

Role Qualifications

  • Solid understanding and experience in payments or banking industry. Fintech background is preferred.
  • Experience in handling SOFIPO technical compliance tasks, such as integration with SPEI, building SOFIPO core banking systems (deposit, cash loan or credit card modules), and preparing documents for compliance regulators.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Java development, currently fluent with architect skills. Experienced with microservices that can support millions of client services, message queues, RDS, Redis, ES, etc.
  • Capability to create innovative, customer-driven banking or payment solutions, delivering high quality solutions to the customer.
  • Highly developed skills in organization, time management and oral/written communications in English.
  • Ability to work with global teams, strong in multi-tasking and perform well under pressure.
