We are currently searching for a Software Development Manager - Banking Sector:

Responsibilities

1. Support the IT Director in administrative terms and various reporting, managing assigned activities within the department and coordinating with other managers to ensure timely compliance.
2. Support production and environment management along with providers, ensuring application availability in development, pre-production, and production environments.
3. Manage projects through their entire lifecycle, assisting in requirement definition from various bank departments and analyzing and designing technological solutions.
4. Coordinate with the IT Director to manage and oversee relationships with IT providers, including contract management and incident response.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience in managing IT environments and supporting production within a banking or financial services setting.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects, interface with internal departments, and coordinate with external providers effectively (PMP).
4. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance, particularly those related to the banking sector.
5. Knowledge of database management (Oracle), programming languages (Java, VB.Net), and AppServer (WAS).

1. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
2. Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.

Languages

1. Advanced Oral English.
2. Native Spanish.
