Required Technical Skill Set

Expertise in data & analytics of Manufacturing real time / transformed data, Factory Operational / Supply Chain KPI

Experience Range: 8+ years

Location of Requirement: Brazil / Mexico


Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, computer science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  2. At least 5 to 10 years working in a Digital Tech related role in software development/implementation.
  3. Proven experience in leading and managing digital manufacturing deployment projects within a regional or global context.
  4. In-depth knowledge of digital manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, data analytics, machine learning, and IoT.
  5. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Experience in change management and driving organizational transformation in a manufacturing environment.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  9. Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in digital manufacturing.
  10. Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  11. Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationships including business leaders, DT associates, and project leaders.
  12. Ability to educate non-digitally savvy leadership & staff.
  13. Learning agility and desire to learn new technology and business.
  14. Experience working across multiple levels of an organization.
  15. Strong problem analysis, negotiating, and influencing skills.

  1. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful insights.
  2. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
  3. Willingness to travel to various regional locations as required.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Delivering Change

  1. Strategy Delivery: Responsible for the delivery of Digital Technologies supporting the use cases within the regions (on time, in scope, on budget) together with the engineering teams.

  2. Business Transformation: Be a key member of the transformation program to deliver multi-years, large scale program to deliver efficiency, growth, or people engagement. Ensure tight integration between DT and D&A concerns across design, development, ops, finance, and commercial.

  3. Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, IT, and business stakeholders, to understand their regional requirements and translate them into comprehensive digital manufacturing solution designs. Ensure the solutions align with industry best practices and strategic business objectives with an objective to be a scalable solution across the regions.

  4. Technology Evaluation and Selection: Will be a key contributor for the global team structure to deliver new capabilities.

  5. System Integration: Implement the integration strategies and architecture for connecting various systems, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), product lifecycle management (PLM), manufacturing execution systems (MES), and other manufacturing-related software applications. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability among different systems in line with the standards defined by the Solution Architect.

  6. Solution Development: Collaborate with development teams to oversee the implementation and deployment of digital manufacturing solutions especially for MPV, Pilot taking place in its regions. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, scalability, security, and performance requirements.

Operational Excellence

  1. Technology and Financial Governance: Ensuring the value for money from investments by ensuring we follow the technology standards, policies, reusability and sweating the assets where possible. Driving for tech landscape simplification and consolidation, to improve the application portfolio TCO.

  2. Technology and Operational Rationalization: Lead the efforts with MGS DT teams to lead the Value from Tech investments, optimization, and rationalization: analyze existing regional manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation through digital technologies. Bring enhancements opportunity to the global team to develop innovative solutions to improve productivity, reduce waste, increase quality, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.

  3. Project Management: Lead and manage digital manufacturing projects, including defining project scope, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution, resource allocation, and successful solution implementation.

  4. Documentation and Training: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users and stakeholders on the functionality, benefits, and effective utilization of digital manufacturing solutions.

  5. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in digital manufacturing. Continuously evaluate and provide enhancement proposals to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
