PURPOSE OF THE JOB

You are in charge of definition and control of adequate inventory level of materials in order to fulfill Production / Operations / Installation requirements while minimizing cash immobilization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Calculate ABC Classification
  • Manage Supplier's portfolio (Internal and/or External suppliers) for ensuring goods delivery at right time, quantity and place based on Alstom needs.
  • Organize and maintain regular reviews with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances.
  • Express delivery needs to suppliers and contribute to governance of the Supplier's delivery performances.
  • Analyze and share deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External).
  • Manage Material Availability (missing parts).
  • Manage Material Scheduling activities at project/product initialization and Change.
  • Manage Stock Policy and Size Inventory Levels.
  • Manage Material Scheduling activities at project/product closure.
  • Define & Control Buy Material Master Data.
  • Manage Excess Stock.
  • Calculate and Update Forecasts (hedge, cost incurred, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure the contractual agreements are reflected in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
  • Manage and follow up of the purchases requests until we have the final PO approved by the supplier.
  • Ensure non-conformities replacement through NCR process.
  • Delivery of specific materials between warehouses and on site.
Main Required Competences

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

  • College degree in business, industrial engineering or similar.
  • English fluent.
  • Spanish (mother tongue or bilingual).
Desirable:

  • Lean Six Sigma Knowledge.
Experience

Mandatory:

  • Minimum 5 years in similar position.
  • Experience and use of ERP SAP.
  • Driver license.
Desirable:

  • Valuable experience in companies of same sector/activity or related.
