Requirements and Job Offer:

Education: BS in Engineering Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive, Structural or related

Languages: Proficient communication in English (at least B2, C1, C2); experience working with India and USA teams

Modality: Hybrid (3 days On Site and 2 days Home Office)

Location: Ciudad de México (Torre Manacar)

Workday: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: CST and EST

Gross Salary: Up to $35,000 MXN per Month

About the Position - Must-Have:

DRE – Suspension Components - Chassis

5 years of experience in the design or engineering of Suspension Components

Knowledge of the manufacturing processes used to manufacture the mentioned components.

Experience with GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R, and root cause analysis.

Experience and knowledge in CAD systems (NX/Teamcenter or Catia).

The chassis suspension engineer is responsible for the suspension component and system design, development, and engineering release for FCA production vehicles.

Takes part in the development of vehicle functional objectives down to the component level, acquiring ownership of those objectives.

Works with the Advanced Team on the upfront development of suspension architectures.

Participates in the development of suspension kinematic and compliance models with the Chassis Virtual Analysis and Driving Dynamics groups.

Moves forward with project ownership and executes engineering deliverables per Project Management KPI (Key Process Indicators) and timeline.

Responsibilities include component design/development/package, management of DVPR (Design Verification Plan & Report) for each component, engineering change management, engineering bill of material, support of prototype build using component build matrices, issues management via Chrysler GIMS system, CAD model management, fastener design, and assembly torque development.
