Manages a broad range of supply chain processes, such as inventory analysis and planning, demand/supply management, and typically with a large or complex global business unit.
Participates as subject matter expert in supply chain transformation projects. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and develops recommendations.
Independently executes the demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
Gathers demand data from various system sources and reports to synthesize information using complex analyses and provides solutions to deliver demand signals to the supply base and capture supply commit signals from factories/partners.
Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Ensures processes/systems will communicate requirements and guidelines to the global planning teams.
Develops automation tools and solutions that reduce/eliminate manual processes and data manipulation.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
First level university Business Management degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
Strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English.
Typically, 8+ years of experience in a supply chain function.
Deep understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver).
Experience in SAP/IBP modules and data structures.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
