Descripción del empleo

The Senior Salesforce Developer/Administrator (remote) is a highly skilled individual contributor responsible for the advanced configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the Salesforce platform. This role focuses on hands-on execution of complex technical tasks, delivering scalable solutions, and ensuring the system meets evolving business needs. The Senior Developer/Administrator works independently or alongside developers and stakeholders to tackle challenging projects, leveraging deep expertise to drive efficiency and innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advanced System Configuration & Optimization:

  • Design and implement sophisticated workflows, validation rules, custom objects, and automation using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, or Lightning Components.
  • Build and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions, such as custom apps, advanced security models, or multi-object architectures.
  • Proactively optimize the platform by adopting new features from Salesforce releases (e.g., Einstein AI, Lightning enhancements).

2. Complex Data Management:

  • Execute large-scale data migrations, deduplication, and enrichment projects using tools like Data Loader, DemandTools, or ETL platforms.
  • Maintain data integrity and security by implementing custom validation rules, triggers (in collaboration with developers), and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Manage sandbox environments for testing, deployment, and production refreshes.

3. Custom Reporting & Analytics:

  • Develop intricate reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business teams and leadership.
  • Leverage Salesforce Einstein Analytics or integrate with external BI tools (e.g., PowerBI) for advanced data visualization when required.

4. Integration & Technical Expertise:

  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., ERP, marketing platforms, or custom APIs) using tools like MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, or AppExchange solutions.
  • Evaluate, install, and configure third-party applications to extend Salesforce functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot or refine custom Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components, while focusing on configuration over coding.

5. Hands-On Problem Solving:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, serving as the go-to expert for technical challenges.
  • Independently handle high-priority escalations related to performance, user access, or data anomalies.
  • Perform system audits and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.

6. Project Execution:

  • Take full ownership of Salesforce projects, such as platform upgrades, new module implementations (e.g., Service Cloud, CPQ), or org consolidations.
  • o Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deploy them with minimal oversight.
  • o Manage timelines and deliverables for technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.

7. User Enablement (Non-Managerial):

  • Create detailed documentation and training materials to support end-users and reduce dependency on IT.
  • Provide advanced support to power users or business units on an as-needed basis, focusing on self-service enablement.

· Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

· Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for data tasks is a plus.
