Senior Sales Manager Owners Line

Job Summary

To generate maximum sales efficiencies, while maintaining or exceeding targeted net sales volume. Must promote and support all aspects of customer service and enhancement. They assist with the supervision of a sales line through coaching, modelling, and reinforcing effective sales and customer service practices, behaviors, and results. Must maintain a professional and personal image that upholds the MVW standards of integrity, quality, and service to customers.

Makes department/multi-department resource decisions that have a financial impact as well as an impact on meeting discipline and/or business goals. It should lead an interdepartmental relationship with Operations and Marketing.

Expected Contributions

1. Maintain maximum sales efficiencies while maintaining or exceeding targeted net sales volume.
2. Must be able to recruit, train, coach, and counsel all Sales Representatives to maximize their potential.
3. Participates in the hiring, supervision, evaluation, counseling, training, coaching, and motivating the sales teams, including goal setting, and monitoring of production.
4. Must be able to ride with Sales Representatives and critique their sales presentation.
5. Orients new employees and assists with continuing education/training of the sales team.
6. Administers written policies and procedures for departmental operations, including Human Resource paperwork.
7. Participates in staff meeting and attends other meetings, such as seminars and training as required.
8. Must review and communicate monthly evaluation of Team Leader/Sales Representative effectiveness and production based on set goals.
9. Implement on-going motivation programs for Sales Representatives.
10. Are responsible for training Team Leaders in closing tables and assist in closing, if necessary, with no direct compensation.
11. Represent the company in matters of customer relations (problem solving).
12. Generate maximum sales efficiencies while maintaining a professional and personal image and upholding MVW standards of integrity, quality, and service to customers.

Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree and/or Hotel Management degree preferred.
2. Three to five years’ experience gained through increasingly responsible positions within the vacation membership field.
3. Bilingual, ability to speak English and Spanish, fluently.
4. Proven track record of success.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Excellent Computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
7. Must be results-oriented with ability to be flexible.
8. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and be a self-starter.
9. Proven time management skills.
10. Proven ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
11. Detail oriented, ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
12. Ability to work flexible hours and days. It is anticipated that the position will require working a provided schedule. Occasionally holidays and/or a six- or seven-day work schedule will be required.
13. Stands, sits, or walks for extended periods. Ability to climb stairs.
14. Moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds without assistance.
