Overview

GSC Digital Business Partner is a key position to achieve digitalization of Schneider’s manufacturing plants. As it is an on-site position, it is essential to know and get involved in GSC (Global Supply Chain) business processes and local operations, understand their problems, and be able to translate all digital needs into Technical IT Solutions.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) ensuring factory compliance with Schneider cybersecurity standards, coordinating network infrastructure changes or new enhancements, aligning to strategic priorities, participating in cross-functional activities to support, and allowing business continuity. This position will collaborate and work with regional and global teams depending on projects.

This role is the main point of contact for all GSC business units; sometimes he/she becomes the SPOC among GSC and Digital Teams, such as SAP, Oracle, Connectivity, Assets Management, Tech Partners, Security, etc.

Accountable for the OT Cybersecurity in the manufacturing plant. Manage all activities to improve cyber resilience in the plant: protect the OT network from cyber threats and sustain the Cybersecurity Performance of the site. The scope of action includes the local OT infrastructures, applications, and the shop floor population.

What will I do in this role?

• Ensure digital adoption in real estate projects (but not limited) for new or expansion factories in NAM.
• Track down project schedules, identify and monitor issues & risks.
• Learn how to ensure delivery of projects under the 3 KPIs: on time, on budget, and meet or exceed quality.
• Facilitate communications between the project team and stakeholders.
• Provide project status updates and ensure processes are met and followed by the team.
• Support transition/handover of data gathering, enrichment, storage, usage, to a business-as-usual state.
• Be the digital key contact and contribute to business transformation projects.
• Understand, support, and collaborate in regional NAM or global projects related to Connectivity and infrastructure.
• Coordinate and collaborate on power/network outages, electrical maintenance, data center changes, UPS, etc.
• Track IT assets, collaborate against obsolescence, and participate in IT asset refresh.
• Be able to delegate efficiently with other teammates such as Tech Partners, In-Plants, vendors, and scholarship.
• Collaborate and report high-level status to a plant manager and finance controller.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in Cybersecurity.
• Experience in GSC business processes and its structure.
• Experience with IoT, network architecture, and infrastructure are desired.
• Experience with databases, such as Oracle databases or SQL databases.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology in frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of ERPs, such as Oracle, SAP, AS400.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, C++.
• Intermediate level of English (mandatory). High level is desired.
